This book is a great way to have more things to play than just the simple examples in piano teaching books. It has a lot of really good songs to play in it and it is laid out extremely well and easy. It has a lot of fun pieces that are challenging for a beginner and get right up to the lowest levels of intermediate. It has some really nice music to play to. The songs tend to go from super easy to out of place difficult and then back again. It won't push you to big jumps in hand positions but it will definitely require you to move a little.
