The orange amps 1 watt guitar head is suitable and reliable and fits well with your daily purpose. This little guy is a standout with that thick Orange sound. It has enough versatility to do clean-ish and can dial in good enough blues and jazz. It's warm-sounding with a very thick and loose low end, particularly in the last third of the gain knob. As far as tone goes it covers the whole spectrum, clean, crunchy, and make you take a dump distortion. It provides great tones for home use.
It's best for loud punchy sounds. You can use it with headphones through the headphone output jack without a speaker cabinet attached. It holds its own against a lot of tube amps too considering its loud enough to gig with yet quiet enough to play in your apartment and still get a full distortion sound with the volume turned low.
Why We Like This:
Great clean tone and nasty/tasty gain
Perfect backup head for a tube amp, and a great second guest amp
Affordable, feature-packed practice or small gig kit in a bite sized lunch box package

The bugera 1 watt guitar head's material feels more premium than its price would suggest. The ultra easy-to-use vintage equalizer (bass and treble) will have you dialing up the tone of your dreams. It breaks up musically and it has three power settings. It has an indicator light on the back which lets you know when it’s time to replace the 2 tubes. It is suitable for aggressive rock styles. For sound, it is very warm, which can be good for cleans, but it tends to turn muddy as you gain.
The front panel push buttons and rear watt selector switch are. It is really quiet going into a 4 ohm 12 inch weber. It is perfect for around the home practice.

The peavey 1 watt guitar head's high-end materials makes sure that it ages well with use. If you want a versatile amp with lots of usable tweaks/controls, that can get the dirtiest tones at low volumes this is the amp. It's saturated, hairy, and has an incredibly chewy midrange. The footswitch has 2 buttons, the first switches from clean to lead and the 2nd is the crunch on the clean channel. It is easy to get any sound from crunch to a deep distortion. There's also a switch for a Marshall voicing on the rhythm channel, which does a good job of imitation.
The reverb and effects loop are footswitchable. There are two, two-button footswitch jacks on the back of the amp. It is perfect for clean rock verses or with use with drive pedals.
Why We Like This:
Plenty of volume on tap and good for bedroom practice too
Great tone, easy to get any sound from crunch
Minimum hardware requirements may be needed for use with recording software

If you are looking for a suitable head for your regular usage, you cannot go wrong with the marshall 1 watt guitar head. The 12AU7 preamp tube being used as a push-pull power tube in this case is purely for bedroom jamming at night. It features and functionality for the novice, as well as pros performing on the world’s biggest stages. It does indeed sound great and also makes a combo version with a 8 inch speaker. The clean sounds actually closer to Fendery, without the sparkles.
The "tone shift" button is NOT a metal midrange scoop, it's also a treble reduction. There is a button on the back of the amp you can lower the voltage for recording with. It is perfect for jamming with cranked tone at a low volume. It does indeed sound great and also make a combo version with a 8 inch speaker.
Why We Like This:

Sounds great thru a 4x12 cabinet
Awesome little amp, perfect for jamming with cranked tone at a low volume
