We would, of course, be remiss if we didn't mention fluke networks 110 block punchdown tool for daily purpose. This punch down set by Fluke is the standard against which all other tools are measured. It includes a screwdriver blade, 110 and 66 sharp blades for termination into 110 and 66 wiring blocks. It basically just sits in the hole on top of the punch tool. The VCELINK Keystone Punch Down Tool that cutting and punching down are carried out at the same time, with a sharp knife edge and fast punch down, suitable for network keystone jacks, patch panel panel, and patch panel. The 110 blade has one side with a blade, and the other side punches down without cutting. It is easy to use and switch out the blades.
This tool is much better than using tool-less keystone jacks, but it's not sharp and the excess wire has to be twisted and pulled off by hand. It can be used as a spare tool, but it looks totally fine as a main punch down tool. The tool is designed backwards, and the yellow should be on the cut side of the punch down. It is suitable for other brands of punch down tools.
Why We Like This:
You can punch down without cutting
A good solid punch tool with all the features
Precise blades are interchangeable and reversible between 110 and 66 standards

Next on the list, we've got yet another tool that manages to win our hearts. It's the iwillink 110 block punchdown tool and it's widely considered as one of the best convenient tool you can buy. This punch-down tool does a decent job of inserting wires into. It presses the wires in perfectly but then you flip the tool around and it cuts out the excess. The handle isn't terribly grippy but it isn't uncomfortable nor cursed with sharp, hard edges. It will not last a lifetime nor, even, extended use but is sufficient for running networks through at least a couple homes.
The yellow and black punch down tool costs about 3 times as much but if you only want one one. The wires are all easy to twist off and break away cleanly. It just makes it nice and clean as well as easy. The blade is replaceable and it appears to industry standard.
