This is an amazingly durable pump. It pumps air and water but doesn’t really start pumping strong until the outlet pipe is filled with water. It will only shut off when you disconnect it from it's power source. It is easy to install and works great. The outlet is 1/2" and the inlet has a filter on it which is the same size as the pump. It is either on or off, there is no pressure switch.
