This sight-reading book is fantastic. This second edition book provides awesome instructions, reinforcements and creative applications of basic piano concepts. The Primer teaches all of the basic concepts including notes on the grand staff and common musical concepts and terms. These are simple songs but they sound more advanced than they are. This book allows students to excel and become artistic piano players.

This is a great starter book for kids over. It is easy to use book that helps kids progress and feel like they are getting somewhere. The hand positions change frequently, but it teaches steps and skips through song. This is great for serious study, but harder to read and a bit out-of-touch.
