Seismic Audio line of snake come in a pretty wide variety of styles, so you can definitely find one that suits your individual preferences and needs. This snake is of a very high quality. It is used to "Insert" a signal processor into the signal chain of a mixing console. It's color-coded and labeled well. It alleviates the need to have four distinct cables and that is a good thing.
There are four "Stereo" connectors on one end, and eight "mono" connectors on the other, all labeled channel 1 through. The ends are clearly marked which is a nice touch. It's as easy as 1-2-3-4 and then power it all up. The quality of the cables is awesome. It is easy to install and satisfying to handle, this is a great deal.

The hosa 4 channel tr snake's superior materials makes sure that it ages well with use. There are some mixers (all Mackie mixers and some others) that will allow you to plug in to your insert until the first click and it would essentially turn the insert into a d/o. It is designed to connect channel inserts on a mixing console to effects processors with unbalanced phone jacks. The connectors themselves are solid and the over moulding is brightly coloured (unlike the pics) so they're easy to spot. These are easily identifiable as paired to the original colored insert.
These insert cables are well made, seated perfectly and perfectly. The insert will send and cutoff signal flow if you press the cable end all the way in to the insert path. It is used for outboard compressors via 8 inserts. It has been road tested, and the build quality is excellent. It is an insert snake, and it does what it should do without introducing any noise.
Why We Like This:
Required cable for most boards (trs inserts) to patch multi-channel outboard processors
Noticeable noise and multiple colors help keep the send/returns straight
