If you often find yourself confused about convenient and suitable control, qwork 4 wheeler winch control should be your first option for buying. You could use it as a remote momentary switch for pretty much anything 12v, possibly with a relay for high current applications. It switches +12 volts to the IN/OUT leads. The remote receiver puts a positive 12 volts on the IN and OUT feeds. It is great for dump trailers.
The Warn wiring is 14 gauge and the QWORK wiring is. It has an output of +12 volts dc at a limited current (+- 1 amp)to operate existing solenoids or relays on that equipment. It is water proof and sealed to keep water out. It will work in unison with a wired or wireless existing setup.
Why We Like This:
Works like a dream and a lot better quality
Wireless winch control in parallel with the warn wired control switch
Added relays to control the directional valve
Very simple hookup you will love the large hand held remotes

The liebmaya 4 wheeler winch control is satisfactory and appropriate and fits well with your regular usage. The key chain remote is awesome for its size and may require an interposing relay. As long as you have (or can reason out) a wiring diagram, this is pretty easy to add on. The solenoid coil is really large and it may require an interposing relay. This one is less than 1/2 the cost and is easier to install. The power wires are colored red and black, so there is no problem there.
These are fairly common for garage remotes and keyless entries. The receiver is not made of sturdy stuff so placement is key for longevity. It even works without the ground wire connected. It is cheaper than a wired controller and it works.
Why We Like This:
Rather inexpensive, and looks like is built well
Works perfect and came with 2 remotes
15 minutes and works very good at 100' with antenna wire inside boat
Can work on any winch or dump trailer if you follow the wiring directions
