The vortex 6 super scope is suitable and reliable and fits well with your daily purpose. The lighted dot reticle is great for low light, but scope glass is also etched, so batteries aren’t necessary. It really does a good job of cutting through the thermals in high temperature conditions. At 4x magnification the eye relief is still very manageable and consistent and still crystal clear. It comes with lens covers and a giant vortex lens cleaning cloth. The high rings make the rifle more comfortable to hold and shoot.

The dot is barely daylight bright but you don’t necessarily need it to be brighter. It is good for most shooting situations. The non-illuminated reticle is dark, unobtrusive, and easily seen in lighted conditions as well.
