The benedict 8 gear transmission's high-end materials makes sure that it ages well with use. It’s designed for a axial SCX10 2 chassis. It's a pretty quiet running gearbox, so it can't be too bad. The output gear and shafts are one-piece. The spur gear can be swapped out easily. If you use a standard aluminum 48 pitch gear, your gear will last about 4 battery packs.

This is for a 1/10th scale remote control vehicle. It is used for 2 seasons with no problems. It's a 1/10th scale remote control vehicle.

Injora spur gear is the epitome of what a great transmission should be. It has plastic composite gears, just like the originals. It comes with what seams to be a motor pinion gear made of metal (no set screw) and it has 17 teeth. The bearings are all metal shielded cheapies. It has 4 loose screws for mounting to the vehicle. The internal gears are all plastic and have little relation to stock axial gears other than size. The quality on the components is pretty low and the slipper pads are VERY low quality aluminum that strips easily.

The motor mount plate is metal, the included pinion gear is as well, everything else is plastic. It is cheaper and easier to find than a used axial replacement transmission.

We would, of course, be remiss if we didn't mention rclions 8 gear transmission for regular usage. It is louder than stock but that's just how metal gears sound. The steel spur gear(normally plastic) makes the gear noise a little louder but a little grease quiets it down some. It is good for stock motor mount without any mod, grease the inside gears. The gearing is smoother than the stock traxxas transmission. This is a direct replacement unit that fits in the stock mounting holes on a trx-.

The spur gear has way more teeth than stock spur gear. It is very loud before adding grease. This is excellent quality, just disassemble and add more grease.
