The putter grip comes with a 50g back-weight which reduces the face angle rotation to allow for a more consistent and reliable stroke during your round of golf. It’s great to fall and size for a flat putter grip. The weight goes into a little socket at the top of the grip. The weight rattles around a bit but overall the grip is fantastic.
The core weight is only a couple inches long and shouldn’t interfere with a 1” shaft extension. It can also be played without the weight if you prefer. It does come with a weight that screws into the grip. It’s not too thick and it feels really good.
