There are no trails marked on this map for the Seward Range, Santanoni Group, Allen Mtn, Cliff Mtn, Table Top, and a few others. The map looks great and is very detailed on trails, herdpaths and leantos. It covers a massive area so even though the maps are huge (and impractical for pocket access during hiking) it provides poor detail. The water resistant paper and print quality are top notch and it refolds fairly well.

These are beautiful maps, durable and great for planning hikes. It's waterproof enough to last through a heavy rainstorm. Lamination keeps it dry and durable. It covers up the map with unneeded information panels.

The national geographic maps one map's material feels more premium than its price would suggest. It is a great set to have if you spend time outdoors in the adirondacks. Since they do cover the entire Adirondack park in only a few maps, this is a small scale map. The maps are very easy to read, easy to use, and contain a lot of pertinent information such as noting trail heads, trails, picnic areas, camping areas, information centers, etc, in addition to the basics of roadways and towns.

These are nice maps, durable and waterproof. They're really nicely made, strong, water resistant, but, totally unusable on the trail. It's FAR superior to degrees-minutes-seconds. The mileage markers are well placed and very helpful.
