The plastic tube that these covers use is very hard and slick, and as a result it tends to slide off the frame while using. It puts paint on the wall faster than a paint brush. The roll does come off the handle as you go.
This roller is soft and absorbent. It is good of a roller cover, and doesn’t shed too much but it does take a lot of paint to get it primed.

These rollers leave a stunning finish when used with Benjamin Moore Regal Select Eggshell paint. It provides controlled release to improve paint flow. It has the least splatter and nicest finish. These are (two easy coats to go from medium blue to white) and how well the walls turn out. It is great for carpet tile glue.
