The extreme max aluminum transom saver is suitable and reliable and fits well with your daily purpose. This V Block is thicker than original and a little tight fit when installing it into the transom saver but it does fit and works well saves you money when there is nothing wrong with the mettle portion of the saver. It provides a soft touch that stops the lower unit from contacting the metal portions of the transom saver, thereby taking the motor weight off of the transom and disbursing it to the trailer.
The transom saver connects to the trailer frame, and extends rearward with the "V" engaging the motor lower unit, thereby taking the motor weight off of the transom and disbursing it to the trailer. This rubber insert is of equal quality to the OEM part. It is slightly larger than original, but with a little spray silicone and rubber mallet, the fit is good. The new block is much sturdier than the factory one. It is easy to install.

The attwood aluminum transom saver is satisfactory and appropriate and fits well with your regular usage. This heavy duty transom saver features durable, rugged construction, and the rubber pads on the heavy duty head are replaceable. It securely supports the motorwell constructed and solid. It's an electric EFI with no trim. It is great for motors with hydraulic trim/tilt. The trim on the motor is used to clamp down and applies considerable pressure to the transom saver.
It's adjustable from 24 to 36 inches for the best fit and fullest support. The heavy duty head securely holds the engine, while you can use your choice of the roller bracket or trailer mount bracket at the trailer end. It's personal preference really, this one is adjustable and will definitely work for your engine.

The attwood transom saver's superior materials makes sure that it ages well with use. It fits all brands of outboard motors. Designed to support the weight of an outboard engine in the tilted position, this heavy duty transom saver eases pressure on the transom and cushions engine and steering components from road shock and vibration while trailering. It is designed for motor 100 hp and up. The jaw part is nice and heavy duty but it goes down hill from that to a laughably tiny carriage bolt that supposed to hold the bracket on the trailer.
The heavy duty feel of this unit is second to none. It should work for any outboard with manual tilt and trim. The jaws are plastic, very thick plastic, but plastic nonetheless.
