Compared with other products by American Standard, the american standard overflow drain has a convenient design. It is soooo deep and comfortable. It is made from durable materials. It has a clean design and the depth allows for a wonderful deep soak. There's a one inch tall flange across the back and two end. It is possible to remove the logo on the bottom right of the tub.
The drain itself appears to perfectly align with the original drain, which should simplify installation, but with the deeper depth, the overflow drain will have to be adjusted upward, presumably 2 inches. It is a skirt tub so does need to be framed with 2x. It does want you to lay the bottom in mortar when installing, though this is pretty standard if you want your tub to hold up. It comes with an in depth instruction booklet that includes all measurements and installation instructions and drawings.Why We Like This:
