It has excellent mechanical properties, and exhibits good ductility, high strength, toughness and good resistance to fatigue. The rings are safe and secure. The locking mechanism is great, and can easily be used with 1 hand.

These are considered the simplest carabiner, where the stainless steel spring offers resistance to being opened and will automatically close. It is perfect for quick clipping off of things. The lock is very nice and is quick to lock back into place.

The camnal arborist carabiner gives the top-tier carabiner a run for their money by offering flagship specs at a much more affordable price. These are being used mostly for dead hanging ie a hammock or attaching runners to use for pull-ups. They are the screw lock type and will need to be screwed to lock it. It screws over the ominously placed skull and crossbones portion of the thread that indicates an unlocked carabiner but barely 1/16" past that and it jams. The fit and finish is good.

The screw locks turn smoothly without any slip or binding. It's designed to be completely and utterly safe (within normal function and maintenance),but still be scary. They’re heavy duty and last.
