These National Geographic Maps are phenomenal. This map is a great map for people who want to get out of the main portion of the park. It's more of a whole park map with trail indicators. They feel like a waxy paper but if you try to do a small tear along the edge it stretches instead of tearing like paper so they seem to be made from a plastic paper instead.
This is the map you need to have in your backpack if you're hiking around the zion area. It features, roads and trails are omitted which can make navigating the back country frustrating without other maps in hand.
