It won't identify the Brew Pubs in Missoula, but it will get you through the Bitterroots and help you find camping areas along the Lochsa River or the S Fork of the Clearwater, or the campsite in the Lower Salmon River B.L.M. It has a waterproof cover, amazing detail, and room to make notes.

The dots along the highway accurately describe the scenic views along the way. The atlas is put together well, the spiral binding lets you fold it over for a single page view and the heavy plastic covers protect the book itself. If you are into off-road driving but maybe not a dare-devil, these guides are the best for off road camping. It’s a map that does everything that a map can do. The new edition has only a single series of maps, more like the old Landscape than the Public Lands maps. The detail is great, considering scale, most 2 track roads appear, tons of landmarks and attractions identified and good thick pages.

The Scale is pretty large, it covers an entire state, so smaller roads and trails are hard to see, but it does include quite a lot of info. It is great for off road camping. If you're sticking to regular roads and sight-seeing, this is perfect for that. They are very helpful and easy to use.
