These are made by dexter but they fit al-ko axles with electric brakes. It is used to retrofit older al-ko axle with 5 stud backplate to use newer style brake assembly. Each of the three axles use different size bearings, so you can not change the drums, and the brake mount flanges are welded onto the axle tubes in different locations in order to make room for the wider brake shoes.

The brakes have plenty of stopping power and they feel very solid. It is a magnet located inside of the backing plate which has 2 conductor wires which tape directly into the trailer wiring. It is smooth and jerk less, this is no shock or jerk that can be associated to the e-brakes or unlink normal hydraulic brakes.
