It is a very basic 1/10 scale crawler gear box. It has plastic composite gears, just like the originals. It comes with what seams to be a motor pinion gear made of metal (no set screw) and it has 17 teeth. The bearings are all metal shielded cheapies. It has 4 loose screws for mounting to the vehicle. The internal gears are all plastic and have little relation to stock axial gears other than size.

The motor mount plate is metal, the included pinion gear is as well, everything else is plastic. The quality on components is pretty low and the slipper pads are VERY low quality aluminum that strips easily.
