The Lumiens is plenty wide, heavier, brighter and it takes 3 rechargeable AA batteries which can be replaced without tools. It easily covers two pages of music and the light is really bright and lasts a long time. The light is sufficient and covers the page well. The arm makes it fully adjustable to the right height above the sheet music. The goose neck on the light allows for enough adjustment to get light in the right places, and still be out of the way of the music.

The optical grade lens provides evenly distributed light with no hotspots. It is flexible yet stable and the clip secure. The bright setting is really nice and bright, but the dimmer setting is also bright enough for most situations, so if you're in a dark space it isn't so disruptive.
