The fence operates nicely and is quite universal with the ability to use in the upright mode or lay it down for a lower profile fence. The T-slots increase its flexibility by making it possible to add accessories such as stops, featherboards or a resaw fence. It works for edge-mounted fences. The mounting bolt holes on the side of the table are 11" center to center. The slide is smooth as glass and the screw/hold down is a little chency but does the job and holds the fence.
The ability to flip the extrusion on it's side will be great for cutting the smaller bits. The fence is very stable & easy to adjust.
