The combination of the light with the camera is a pretty strong deterent as opposed to a camera only which will record the theft but not let the thieves know they are being watched. It is wireless and the battery runs the camera and the light. The alarm alerts for motion detection are great too.

The blink 2 camera kit's material feels more premium than its price would suggest. These things are super cool and they work awesome even without the batteries just solar. It includes one blink outdoor camera, one sync module 2, one solar panel mount, one mounting kit, one housing cover, one mount, one power cable, one power adapter, and one right angle adapter. The solar panel that comes with this unit is very sub par. They seam to last longer than the lithium batteries. You will need the batteries with it even though the unit has a battery also.
