The wavestorm one board is long-lasting, rigid and fits well with your regular usage like a dream. If you are an unpretentious person who is just picking up the sport or would like an inexpensive board that will serve you well and durably in most conditions, get it. Wavestorm classic surfboards feature a strong eps core with 3 marine-ply stringers and a resilient wbs-ixl (water barrier skin) soft crosslink top graphic deck skin with textured grip. It is a hdpe slick bottom that provides stiffness to maintain board shape. The foam top is rather delicate and prone to denting and scratching, so be careful where you stand it up or lay it down.

This is a good board to learn to surf on. It can be thrown around without breaking easily. The design is also really nice. This is a great board for the money and is a good way to see if you are into surfing enough to drop $ $ $ on a batter board.

The big difference is that they replace that hardened fiberglass or epoxy top layer with a soft, dentable Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate (EVA) sheet. It has the cap on the top of it as well to protect the tip from further damage as well. The front does arch up so that it doesn’t nose dive into the water.
