The inateck branded usb card should be able to handle its purpose and duties with ease. This Pcie to usb 3.2 gen 2 card adopts overcurrent-protection chip and has passed the iec61000-4-2 ed.2 esd test, which can better keep your computer and devices secure and safe. It has an asm3142 host controller chip which supports up to pcie 3.0 x2, and the remaining lanes are mainly used for power supply. It is perfectly easy to understand instructions, flawless plug-and-play installation, and solid build quality.
The USB 3.0 protocol caps bandwidth at 5gbps, following the buckets effect, the usb 3.2 gen 2 ports can not provide faster speed when the connected storage devices, computers, adapter cables, and adapters are with usb 3.0 specifications. This card requires less response time for overcurrent protection than those with traditional fuses. If you're ok with the max speed being only around 14 Gbps (after USB's overhead), this is a decent card. It is purely a cost-saving measure.
