Best Overall: Bugera Nice Little Amp

Bugera Nice Little Amp

The bugera nice little amp is long-lasting, rigid and fits well with your regular usage like a dream. When it comes to real tube sound at whisper volume, the attenuator is a nice feature that you will enjoy. Adding to its impressive list of tone-shaping options, the vintage v5’s high-definition reverb puts the perfect finishing touch to your signature sound. It provides everything from sweetly-purring blues to mind.

The power attenuator is a nice feature as it lets you reduce the output from 5W to 1W or 0.1W. It has deep full clean tone and at low volumes would sound good with some distortion and metal style pedals. The option to switch to lower wattage is great for noodling around indoors without completely sacrificing the tone too, though it definitely shines much more when you push it a little bit.

This is an awesome little amp for playing at home without distributing the neighbors and also really good for recording.

Why We Like This:
  • Looks really nice, has a really cool vintage look and feel
  • Great tube tone, controlled distortion from clean to this side of crunch, great reverb
  • Excellent little amp, sounds wonderful by itself but handles effects even better
  • Excellent base to throw some pedals onto for more options

It has a built-in 2-way power attenuator, which allows you to achieve the ultimate sound at any volume, all the way down to 01 watts.

This amp is a true el84 amp with tube characteristics and warmth. It is great for recording those vintage tones. For sound, it is very warm, which can be good in cleans, but it tends to turn muddy as you gain. It is suitable for aggressive rock styles.

Why We Like This:
  • Packs quite a punch on 5 watts
  • Lots of power at any watts selection
  • One of the new comers and featured product

The bugera great little amp should be able to handle its purpose and duties with ease. The G5 Infinium is perfect for bedroom practice and recording. It has a clean clean tone that will get the proper classic rock tube crunch using an Dunlop/Echoplex EP. The amp takes being boosted very well and with the right frequency boosts, you can modernize the sound quite a bit.

The touch dynamics of the OD channel are amazing with the gain on any setting. The included fx loop with effects level switch allows you to have complete control over your signal routing, optimizing your tone for your collection of pedals and external gear.
