It is easy to install, no leaks, the valve works and is easy to manipulate when riding. The Hydro link is actually made for the Military sized "gray" hose which has a slightly larger inner diameter. It has never leaked and they are super easy to use.

The old bite valve system will have to be removed and the new unit inserted into the hose firmly. It is great replacement for the stock camelbak valve. It would definitely recommend either if your nozzle is failing and leaking or you simply want a nozzle which allows more water through.
