Godox Canon Speedlite controller

Godox Canon Speedlite controller

Godox has been making great controller for years, thanks to a combination of clever design and appropriate materials. Using the App on your smart phone lets you change the settings of your lights from your cell phone. It allows the X2Tc to completely control the canon as if it were a godox device. It controls your X2T via Bluetooth, which then changes your light settings via the X communication system which is a WIFI frequency. It allows you to manually change the output of almost all godox flashes, wirelessly, from the camera.

The LCD screen is sufficiently bright, even in sunny outdoor conditions. It is easy to navigate and the button layout makes sense. The larger buttons and quick adjustment wheel make for a product that you can almost use without checking the screen once you get used to the layout of the controls. The X2T has a better user interface and also supports Bluetooth control.

Why We Like This:
  • Re less prone to being damaged or bent
  • A great & unique well made product
  • Really handy if you are using several lights
  • Very practical trigger and easy to use

Neewer Canon Speedlite controller

Neewer Canon Speedlite controller

The neewer canon speedlite controller's material feels more premium than its price would suggest. This set of radio frequency works pretty good. It has an energy-saving design with 12v 23a battery for transmitter and two aaa batteries (not included) for the receiver. It is attached on the hot shoe of the camera while the receiver is plugged into the studio flash. The front of the flash HAS to be facing the receiver light in order to get the signal from the camera and fire. These work really well, but test your shutter speed sync rate before your shoot.

It comes with this system you should be able to syncs at 1/250th of a second (as set by the camera), but not with these triggers. They are useful when using some camera or flash automation, which makes life easy but subrogates creative control to the devices. The hot shoe plates fit really really tight.

Why We Like This:
  • Will work with anything that accepts an external receiver
  • Works with canon eos 5d mark iv
  • Great system for off camera flash

Yongnuo Canon Speedlite controller

We know from years of feedback from readers, customers and amazon sellers, what most people want in a convenient and appropriate controller. The yongnuo canon speedlite controller is exactly that - it's a simple controller that hits all the right notes. This is a flash trigger used on your camera. It's tiny, light, tough and supremely capable. It can work with any model of camera as long as it has a standard hot shoe. It is formatted for the connection pins on the hot shoe mount. It will trigger the flashes without the other triggers. The combination works fine and it is very convenient to change flash power with the trigger/controller. It is compatible with the wireless shutter receiver of rf. It does the job without burning a hole in your pocket.

Why We Like This:
  • Delivers what they promise
  • Good brand reputation

Yongnuo One transceiver

Yongnuo One transceiver
Buy on Amazon

The yongnuo one transceiver should be able to handle its purpose and duties with ease. This kit comes with a transmitter 622C-TX (the one with the LCD panel) and a 622C transceiver. It's reverse engineered to work with Canon cameras. It is designed for canon and nikon with ttl functions, which also can control the power and the zoom of the flash. The controls are on top of the transmitter so you don't need to go into the camera settings.

The trigger and the flash work great together. They talk to each other, so you can use the camera or the TX to adjust your flashes remotely. They're almost perfect and they last quite a while on a single set of Energizer lithium batteries. It will work with all the newer canon digital dslr lineup.

Why We Like This:
  • Great trigger system at low cost
  • Lot of satisfied buyers
