It works well but evaporates fast especially when the work piece gets hot but leaves little or no residue. The Proxxon scroll saw is a wonderful tool for detailed work on jewelry and other physically small projects. It includes speed control and accepts common scroll saw blade heights, and adjusts for larger and shorter blades. It does a fine job on outline cutting. The speed control works well, reduces vibration on thin stock, yet cutting speed is adequate with the new blade.
This is a nice compact unit that can be disassembled and put back in the box for storage quite easily and quickly. It really shines in this kind of use. The saw is very well made for a relatively inexpensive item.
