This controller is an absolutely necessary alternative to that super short corded controller that comes with classic mini. It works great, and the best NES classic controller out there. It recharges via micro USB. The power button lets you switch between games so you don't have to get up to manually change them, allowing you to sit in the recliner for hours. The internal rechargeable battery can last up to 18 hours, eliminating the need for constant replacement of batteries and saving you money in the long run.

This controller only works on the wii ( via the bottom of the wii remote), the nintendo classic ( probably) and the super nintendo classic. They also have a nice feature that disconnects the one (if you're using two) that hasn't been in use for a couple minutes to conserve battery life,simply hit the button to reconnect when it's your turn.
