The zoo med coconut fiber substrate for leopard gecko should be able to handle its purpose and duties with ease. These frogs (and most other frogs) need a substrate that is "impaction-safe" meaning that it's fine enough that they won't mistake it for food. It is good for white's tree frogs like sphagnum moss and mulch. It's easy to care for and looks good. It is used to increase humidity in an enclosure.

The zilla coconut fiber substrate for leopard gecko's superior materials makes sure that it ages well with use. This block will fill up one ten gallon tank with around 4 to 6 inches of bedding, too much for most needs. It is good for the garden and even mycology. It holds the moisture well, but still dries out fast enough to help prevent mold. It is a perfect medium for egg laying and encourages burrowing. It can absorb up to 10x its weight in water so the roots won’t get dehydrated so long as a routine watering schedule is adhered to.
This mix is very fine which is a little messier to work with. It keeps moisture in/humidity up really well. This is probably perfect if you need a lot of coconut husk at once.
Customers say that getting a moss for gecko tank, along with substrate is useful.

The exo terra coconut fiber substrate for leopard gecko should be able to handle its purpose and duties with ease. The Exo Terra Forest Moss is extremely absorbent and is recommended in humidifying shelters such as the Exo Terra Snake Cave or Reptile Cave. It makes the terrarium look finished and natural. It is definitely more brownish-green and not bright green, but it looks very natural and variety is always better.
This moss makes an excellent part of substrate or bedding for tortoises ( retains moisture well for tropical tortoises such as Red Foot Tortoises) and is the best option to put in wet hides for Leopard Geckos. The moss holds a lot of moisture and can easily be cleaned out with a strainer & then sun dried and used again. The smell is pleasant, and it looks really nice. It is also an ideal egg-laying or incubation medium.
