They cover well and stay in place well with the ted hose that you have to wear. They are individually packaged and sealed. These will work fine as long as you don't have a wound with a lot of drainage or if you double them up. The combine pads are great for the amount of drainage put out by the wounds. There is one big plastic bag and the pads are flat (instead of folded like some individually wrapped ones) and in stacks pretty much filling the whole box which is how you get a lot more per case. These are not sterile but are clean and come in one big box. They ARE great for absorbing fluid & drainage and padding, though. It would be extremely necessary to keep the bag sealed & the opening small, when taking one out.
