It's made of plastic injection molded glass filled nylon that has knit lines in it. It's just clear they are a little thinner. The new hoses come with retaining clips on the new clamps so you literally just pop them on and then release the retaining clip. The self lock ring in one of the hoses doesnt feel to snap hard enough, but it wprks.

The hose ends are the same size the plastic end locks in place and seals correctly after pushed over tubing with adequate pressure. It comes with necessary clamps for easy installation. The hose looks a little less durable with less fibers, compared with the stock hose. It's a great kit, except for the slip-on fitting, that needs serious work.
