Buy on Amazon Not everyone likes to purchase mixer for their regular usage, but the intllab vortex mixer would be an anomoly. This little vibrating vortex works fantastic. It provides a smooth consistency with citadel paints. Any size of hobby paint bottle fits on it & you can shake it right side up, upside down or on its side for those bottles that have really settled. It works great with dropper bottles but goodluck on anything kimera or larger than a dropper. It is easy to use, works perfectly right out of the box. The cord is short but overall look and style are good. It works great on them, and definitely makes them smoother and breaks up the pigmentation. It is essentially a paint shaker. Why We Like This:
- Mixes paint perfectly after only a few seconds
- Excellent for miniature paints of any brand
- Lot of satisfied buyers
INTLLAB craft paint Mixer
Buy on Amazon The intllab craft paint mixer's material feels more premium than its price would suggest. The INTLLAB Lab Vortex Mixer works great and even comes with a little test tube. It is made for test tubes. It does a great job and will do in 10 to 15 seconds what would ordinarily take two to three minutes of manual bottle shaking. It needs to be at a slight tilt that's close to upright. It is superior to hand shaking. It is great for smaller tamyia sized containers but really struggles with 2oz createx paint bottles. The pressure plate that activates can be a bit touchy. The mixer itself works great for mixing 17ml bottles of paint. Why We Like This:
- Just has limitations with 2oz bottles
- Makes very quick work of getting buttery smooth paint
- Good investment for long term
Labnique craft paint Mixer
Buy on Amazon Best part: labnique craft paint mixer costs comparatively low and it is available to ship in 24 hours. The vortex mixers really work and this one is very good. It is widely used to mix samples in scientific and industrial labs, shops, and for home uses of mixing paint, ink, nail polish or other solutions. This vortex mixer is a cylinder about 6 inches tall and 4 inches across with three rubber suction cups on the bottom. The suction on the lid is pretty strong, and you really can't beat the value here. Unlike other small and light ones, the body of this unit weighs more than 5 lbs, which makes the operation of this machine very stable. It also has 3 suction cup feet on the bottom that keep it from walking around while in use. The 2 modes of operation are a plus as you don't need to press down to activate it.Why We Like This:
- Great vortex mixer for tabletop hobbyists
- Works well and quick and easy
- Pretty heavy, quiet, and the suction cups actually work
- Solid build, ideal for hobby paints
PRECIPETTE craft paint Mixer
Buy on Amazon The precipette craft paint mixer gives the top-tier mixer a run for their money by offering flagship specs at a much more affordable price. The four vortex mixer mixes the paint completely ( unlike normal hand shaking) and is especially good for metallic paints. It fits the army painter bottles well enough. It comes with the sturdy iron/aluminum casting base and the rubber vacuum suction feet can stand firmly without dancing and move when mixing. The instruction manual indicates several different attachments you can get to replace the rubber cup that comes with it that should meet the need of any container you'd typically use on a device this size, no idea how to get those attachments though. It's relatively quiet. It can work for your 59ml plastic hobby paint, however, it will take a longer time for mixing your paint. The manual does show other attachments you can replace the cup with. Why We Like This:
- Lot of satisfied buyers
- Good brand reputation
