Its Controllable Carafe, and brew temperatures make Starbucks grade coffee and keeps it from burning for the longest time. The pour area into the reservoir is small and can easily result in dribbles/spills and if you open the lid while it is coated in condensation, the water will run down the back of the maker to the power cord and puddle on the counter top. The stainless steel makes it a great looking piece to have out on your counter as well. It features work well, particularly the schedule setting.

The lid snaps on using simple plastic pressure points as does the inner basket holder/drip stop snap into the reservoir area. There is a vent on the bottom that will rust.
