The pelikan edelstein ink should be able to handle its purpose and duties with ease. Tanzanite is definitely a blue ink, best suited for letter writing or for use in a nice broad signature pen. Pelikan has engineered a new lubricant which allows scratchy pens to write well while not increasing the flow of wet-writing pens. It flows nicely and creates lovely shading without being too wet.
