The mounting bracket and hardware that comes with it is designed to drill straight through the center of the plaque and while that gives it good stability it's ugly. It fits with a very large drill bit and dremel tool.

The bracket itself has a raised lip such that a screw could be slipped into it so it just hangs from the wall, but it doesn't come with a screw whose head fits in the lip. It's a little easy to scratch so treat them well in your wood shop (garage) and don't place anything on them in a way that could tarnish it.
