The double doors cover the hole well, are very sturdy, and prevent wind from blowing thru as well. The interior flap gives a much more finished look than some with just an interior frame.

This is delivered with two sides one for each side of the door. They lift the outside flap and slide the mail through. The brass is not insulated so you'll also have static heat loss. This is a perfect match to the original and installed easily. It would definitely be drafty in windy weather.
