Not everyone likes to purchase box for their daily usage, but the behringer di box for electronic drum would be an anomoly. The ultra-di di400p is a passive di (direct injection) box for connecting a guitar, bass or keyboard directly to your mixer. While they're not amazing or mind-blowing (this IS just a passive DI box, mind you), they're surprisingly quiet and solid. The advantage is this direct injection box converts a 1/4 inch guitar cable line out to a microphone cable xrl balanced line giving you more to work with as far as incoming signal on the recorders input provided it accepts a common stage mike cable.

The box is passive, so it simply converts the signal from the unbalanced 1/4" cable from your instrument into a balanced xlr output that would then go to an xlr input on your amp. They work fine and they are not noisy. The ground lift switch is very handy. It's great for boosting signal from ipads, tablets, smartphones and guitars. It is a passive device (no power cable or batteries to deal with), so you lose a little bit of volume.

Why We Like This:
  • Very nice device, no hum or buzzing when connected, just clean tone
  • Excellent for a simple basement setup
  • Simple to use and for most applications will deliver excellent results

The pyle di box for electronic drum is satisfactory and appropriate and fits well with your regular usage. The world over, the ot-2 provides superior signal isolation from local ac and rf hum, and the ultimate in impedance matching. It is built to be used with signals alike for example stereo keyboards or similar. They also come in handy hooking a guitar or bass directly into a mixer by balancing the high output of the guitar or bass into a lower input signal that the mixer can cleanly use. They also allow you to set input levels via a switch just in case your input is hot.

This device also has some ground lift switches that can prevent ground loops. It's ultra-compact and housed in a tough, road-ready metal case. It's inexpensive and works great as advertized. These are great for a permanent installation, or for musicians who don't do a whole bunch of traveling.

Why We Like This:
  • A must tool for any working musician or audio tech
  • Clean strong signal and versatile with ground lift and input pads
  • Excellent to isolate noise and hum from external source

The radial engineering di box for electronic drum should be able to handle its purpose and duties with ease. The XLR cable is a balanced cable so the signal going to a PA would be Balanced no matter what. It's built like a tank and can withstand just about anything you throw at it. Because they are 2 channel, they are particularly handy for stereo instruments like keyboard, or guitar through stage effects processors. It also provides isolation, attenuation, and ground lift. It accepts high level line signals well.

The direct box is intended to take an unbalanced, line level, signal as the input. It reduces the clutter and the clunkiness of two d1s taped together. It has pad and ground lift options for noisy environments.
