Elevation lines give an adequate sense for the topography of this largely mountainous country. The familiar 'National Geographic look' come across attractively and clearly. It has a pretty good showing of secondary and tertiary roads, which is appreciated,seriously, you do not need a GPS. The Scale is very convenient and much more preferable to most map you get on your internet device.

It is pretty sturdy and can survive getting wet, dropped, stepped on, etc. The map is good for traveling. National Parks are highlighted helpfully and some 'adventurous' activities are signaled by an icon at the appropriate location.

The material is vinyl or like that so it is resistant to tearing and can be folded and refolded many times. It's easy to read, and is printed on a really tough material that can handle a lot of folding and unfolding.

The "paper" handles well after being folded in all kinds of shapes for driving convenience. This is a great, attractive map. There are no inset maps detailing any of the cities, but this is a great map for getting the big picture.

This map is a good basic map that follows Rick Steves guide book and in a more convenient smaller size. While the 'world' is going GPS, maps provide a larger view displaying relationships between cities, etc. If you are taking trains it is a good resource for where the trains go.

The map of Dublin is also very good and the right size for detail without being hard to read. This map is adequate for identifying many tourist sites to visit, if you want to visit the tourist sites. This map is actually included in the back of the rick steves ireland 20th edition book and in a more convenient smaller size.

The rick steves good map's material feels more premium than its price would suggest. This map will easily get you around Great Briton. It provides information that will be very helpful for an upcoming (long time dream trip). It is great map for travel, not very detailed like an atlas but small and list big cities. It is made of a cloth-like paper so it holds up to much use. It does have driving times to those sights, but you will need a real map or sat nav to get to them.
