The canarm drop light head should be able to handle its purpose and duties with ease. This is a great ceiling fixture. The base of the fixture, which seats against the ceiling is oval and is only about 5 inches wide along the shorter part of the oval. The inner arms cannot go directly under the outer arms and will have to be offset a bit.
This light would work in every area from elegant traditional to transitional or eclectic styles. The light can be moved to different positions so that each light can shine when needed. It will work fine on a normal electrical light box.
