The snareweight drum tone control's material feels more premium than its price would suggest. The M1s are perfect with the magnets that allow you to adjust how much dampening you want. It still muffles and controls the overtones but flips up the sides to the magnet for less dampening, not a chance. It's also nice to be able to adjust it on the fly.
It is easy to use and has multiple positions for control. It eliminates unwanted overtones and buzz without choking the drum. It has a similar sound to the old wallet-on-the-snare trick, but doesn't choke the drum as much as a wallet.
Why We Like This:
Flaps and bounces if you hit drums med to hard
Very adjustable and looks great on the drum
Very smart, highly recommended for players with a light touch

The drumdots drum tone control's superior materials makes sure that it ages well with use. These dots offer various ways to control your tone. They sound better and let your drum's tone come through without choking the head. They stay in place on batter head, or upside-down on resonant head. They will help control the ringing of the toms. They cut the ring, giving you a more controlled sound, but the drums still sing out with all the tone and meat. It makes it easy to put them away and keep them from getting dirty. They will stick even when dirty.
Why We Like This:
Essentially, clear moongels in a plastic jewel case
Take out just the right amount of overtone, without deadening the tone

We would, of course, be remiss if we didn't mention snareweight drum tone control for daily purpose. The Snareweight does a great job of trimming a bit of excess ring from a drum without killing the tone or head feel. It gives focus, a small bit of compression, to the sound. It will never warp, kink or unstick. It is built with excellent performance.
The Snareweight is tonally adjustable, super clean, and keeps the overtones from getting too squashed. It is perfect solution to reduce unwanted overtones while retaining full tone. It does not leave your heads with moongel marks. The rim-clip attachment is convenient and the slim, flat size keeps it from obstructing your playing.
Why We Like This:
Works equally well for snares and toms
Allows the drum to breathe and clips on and adjusts super easy
A very high quality solution for dampening or eliminating overtones
Stays put and gives it a nice fat, pleasing snare tone
