It comes with a brass pin that you pull up to vent before/during use and push back in to keep it from leaking during transport. It should work in any mechanical oil gauge application. It is a mechanical gauge, so it needs to be tied into an actual engine oil circuit on the engine. It is intended to connect to the 1/8” nylon tubing included with the gauge. The gauge tells you engine condition but the light will respond to a sudden failure.

This is an aftermarket mechanical unit but it has a mounting bracket that can be attached about anywhere. These all have back lighting so the gauge can be seen at night. It is easy to install and works great with a copper line kit instead. The gauge will not give you a low pressure warning unless you are looking at it.
