Nancy Faber offers a variety of book for personal choice and yet maintaining quality in all the variants. This book is a wonderful addition for pianists that are close to completing level 1 lesson series as there are songs that require a bit more knowledge than the primer level learners. It challenges them to move more than traditional books and they love Disney movie songs. It is complex enough to get them thinking, but not too difficult to where they can’t play it.

This book correlates well with what students learn in level 1 but with a little more practice moving hands out of position. The students have so much fun playing the Disney classics with their teacher. It is great to encourage kids to practice. There are eighth notes and accidentals which is definitely not for easy easy beginners.

The Piano Adventure Player app for iPads and iPhones is terrific. It covers reading notes, understanding timing, chords, and other music theory. It is great book for an older beginner, and walks you through steps clearly. It has excellent content for the adult learner. The performance book will give you more songs at your level to expand your repertoire.

Honestly, this book is great for anyone new to piano, and anyone who's been playing piano a long time. It is great book for jumping in and getting going on piano. There's a glossary in the back, also. This book is great at teaching an old dog and new tricks.
