Boeray line of rod come in a pretty wide variety of styles, so you can definitely find one that suits your individual preferences and needs. This is an excellent tool for fishing wire and cable down walls and ceiling’s and those hard to reach places in an attic. It is connected with fish tape, which makes the wire and fish tape connect firmly. These are perfect for the causal user that needs to get cable behind walls, but if you are an installer using them 20 times per day then you are not being realistic investing $14 expecting them to last.
These rods are very thin which works great for fishing wires and rough walls. It makes fishing wires into the truck sooooo easy. It can be combined with additional kits, very convenient. These come with multiple attachments.

Next on the list, we've got yet another rod that manages to win our hearts. It's the ram-pro fiberglass flex rod and it's widely considered as one of the best convenient rod you can buy. The Ram-Pro 33’ nonconductive fiberglass fish tape sticks cable snake running kit is the perfect electrician companion set to finish difficult electric wiring installations by pulling and pushing cords through the toughest spaces easily without sparking fires. It is used to snake 12 gage wire through an insulated wall. They are stiffer, glow-in-the-dark, and have different threads which do not match these.
These rods are for fishing the walls, NOT for pulling wires with them. They hold up well and go fine through very tight quarters where the thicker fish sticks just cant go/bend. Instead you screw together as many poles as you need making it way easier to use. Their flexibility however works wonders in walls and tight spaces where the thicker fish sticks just cant go/bend.
Why We Like This:
Easy to see and feed in attic situations
Enough flexibility to push around corners, strong enough to pull wires

Startfine offers a variety of rod for personal choice and yet maintaining quality in all the variants. It is perfect for pulling ethernet cables and hdmi cables through a conduit in the wall. This can be used to run a hdmi cable in a wall. It coils up at the first hint of any resistance. It is great for sneaking wires in on shorter runs.
This tape is long enough, and strong enough to make the pull, in the end. It will not lay out straight and flat so it needs to be fed through tubing or some sort of channel. The pull is smooth and without a jam. Loved the portability (as opposed to glow rods) and the bright color makes it easy to spot.

The looped wire attachment is perfect for pulling the cable. It comes with 8 different attachments for fishing wire/cable through walls. It is self-contained and turns on when you screw it onto the end of the fiberglass rod. The rods are stiff enough to allow for them to move through fiberglass insulation without too much trouble, IMHO. The sticks are sturdy, lots of accessories and the case is a MUST.
There is a regular version (out of stock as of this writing) that has 1/8" rods, the HD version has the larger 1/4" rods. The light attachment has battery leakage with a cracked and rotted LED. The attachments included are very useful and the rods are flexible yet rigid to feed through tight spaces.
Why We Like This:

These are very long flexible fiberglass rods. It is perfect for pushing or pulling electric wires through a small "tunnel. They are thin and quite flexible. Best part: klein tools fiberglass flex rod costs comparatively low and it is available to ship in 24 hours. They make it easier to connect the rods together while up in the ceiling tiles. Even for pushing through walls stuffed with insulation, this low flex fiberglass is overly stiff. The rods are more rigid than fish tape so that you can have better control of where you want to push it. They are very flimsy. It comes with a hook that can be threaded on the end instead.
The threaded ends are large enough and strong enough to help this tool last. The stiffness of these rods makes it much easier to route the rods through wire hangers and around obstructions in a drop ceiling.

Works like a charm for a short pull of a line or cable

It is great for pulling new cables along a dropped ceiling type of environment. It is made of fiberglass material, includes 10 rods (3/16" diameter, each rod is 100 cm) with threaded brass connectors, m5 screw thread/nut, acrylic connection, brass push and pull rods. It is nice being able to screw together the length you need and not deal with a large roll of wire or fiberglass at the other end.
The fiberglass rods are a little flimsy so when you start connecting multiple rods it is more difficult to use above the ceiling of push through insulation compared to a stiffer rod. It is great for pulling new cable along a dropped ceiling type of environment. This is a nice installation kit if you need to run cables above a drop ceiling, or behind the drywall.
Why We Like This:
Really indispensable for a wire pull project
