It comes with several attachments to help connect wire or tubes through a wall. It's stiff enough you can guide a 2 joined pieces reasonably well into a 2"x2" opening (took several attempts but nothing really hard) and flexible enough to make a 90 degree turn. It is easy to use to run wiring.
