The meat on the bones of this game is killing monsters and making money. There are quite a few larger side quests that directly impact the main story-line, and every decision you make has ripple effects that you can't even begin to predict.

The game is THAT rich and entertaining. The writing, story, side stories, characters, the diversity in the environment, weather, the combat and overall gameplay is top shelf. There are several that completely prevent continuing in the game, such as one involving Thor raider, the dark knights or red dead look elsewhere. There are tons of cosmetics like costumes, finishers, and nameplates, but the only to get them is to level up a characters hero card, which you have to be connected to the internet to level up. It's also a really fun game to play if your friend has the game as well.
