The Shin Megami Tensei V is a Demon collecting turn based RPG that has a fleshed out story and excellent combat. It comes with newfound power, the protagonist ventures through da'at, an enigmatic realm filled with mythical deities and demonic tyrants in constant conflict for survival. It also tends to be more monotonous and lacks the variety of gameplay the persona games offer.

This is a traditional SMT game that should be played by all RPG lover. It makes for a great battle system. The story is good with excellent balanced and challenging gameplay on hard difficulties. There are a lot of quality of life updates/adjustments added to the game. It is not necessary to play the previous ones to enjoy SMT V. It's refreshing to play a game that doesn't shy away from these topics.
