This page is just for you.
Our review process:
We looked at several aspects when choosing the best vcrs, from objective measures such as physical dimensions and design to subjective considerations of look and feel. Though we have a variety of recommendations across various styles, all of our picks satisfy criteria that suit most people, thereby reducing the confusion of choice.
While you may find a vcr for any aesthetic preference, we looked for vcrs that had simple, elegant designs - ones that would appeal to most people - rather than models that adhered to specific aesthetic choices.
Note: It doesn't mean that the vcrs that aren't mentioned here are bad. We picked these because these will help most of the people. If you have very specific preferences, we suggest you consider one of the below-mentioned products as a starting point before finalizing your pick.

The panasonic particular vcr is long-lasting, rigid and fits well with your daily purpose like a dream. You can easily play any VHS tapes using this remote without the remote. The multilingual menu lets you control the pv. It features adjust the picture quality to reduce static, shaky pictures, and other onscreen distractions. The sony four head vcr is capable of outshining several other vcr featured in this list in overall features in its price range. It is the last of the high-end home user VCR's SONY made. It is designed to be a perfect match with sony wega tvs but works seamlessly with any brand of television. It works fine, rewinds fast, and has slow-motion functions. It can be done with lessor electronics even (some) of the tvs.

We know from years of feedback from readers, customers and amazon sellers, what most people want in a convenient and appropriate vcr. The panasonic four head vcr is exactly that - it's a simple vcr that hits all the right notes. The panasonic pv-v4523 is a really good quality 4-head vCR for the road, this is a pretty good one, with respectable sound quality. It allows you to set-up, navigate, etc. The silver finish wears off quickly in the high use areas, especially on the remote. The set-up is simple and it works well. It has panasonic's ready-to-play feature and also comes with a universal remote control.
The machine has a good appearance, with smooth lines and contours, and a pleasant, hi-tech silver color. The unit never needs picture tracking.
Why We Like This:
Equals their body temperature, by people whose organization skills have somewhat been altered
The ability to record in lp (4 hour) mode
Just a garden-variety inexpensive 4-head hi-fi vcr
Recording on a tape is also very simple and logical

We would, of course, be remiss if we didn't mention sony full tape for daily purpose. This VCR does have a built in tuner. It plays regular VCR tapes with one rf video/audio output, one rf video/audio input, two composite video inputs, one composite video output, two audio line inputs, and one audio line output. It shows on screen how much time is remaining on each tape, as it should, but also includes a little diagram that displays where you are on the tape.
The Sony Slv-n500 has a 19u micron head for clearest picture in EP mode. The remote works great and has a decent reach for it's age and also includes an eject button. The VCR timer has been set, all buttons can be locked out so that all settings are not canceled by mistake. It is a good vcr with excellent slow motion playback at the ep speed.

We would, of course, be remiss if we didn't mention jvc four head vcr for daily usage. The remote is an excellent design in the best JVC tradition. It includes an et mode that lets you make s-vhs recordings with economical vhs tape. It provides 1-touch operation with matching jvc components. This makes it easy to hook up an external source (such as a camcorder or something) and record to VHS.
The picture quality in s-vhs et mode is almost as good as the original directv broadcast and much better than the tapes you get at the video stores. It should only take a few minutes to program the universal remote to the JVC VCR to have a working remote. This unit has a jog/shuttle wheel which is used to perform all the rewinds and fast forwards. The unit is a piece of cake to setup.
