The gardner bender coax cable should be able to handle its purpose and duties with ease. These polyethylene staples with zinc plated nails are designed to offer fast and easy installation when securing most types of non-metallic cables. They are usually black, with a goldish screw, and will look nicer. These plastic staples have thinner and sharper nails that are easier to drive in. They are perfect for Ethernet cable as they don't pinch the cable at all.
While these are designed for Romex, you can use these to hold extension cords, network cable, coax cable, or even 1/4 inch drip line tubing in place. It protects wire and will not rust, rot, or deteriorate. This size is juuuust barely high enough for normal-jacket cat6 ethernet cabling. It is perfect if you want to organize wires.
Why We Like This:
Excellent staple for outdoors wire fastening without too much staple rusting on the wire
Much easier to install correctly every time than "u" shaped nails

The gardner bender plastic staple is capable of outshining several other products featured in this list in overall features in its price range. This is a much safer product than the old style metal wire staples. They have a plastic piece that neatly secures cables without constricting them. The 2 nails are long enough (but not too long) to hold the cable in place. The inside of the saddle is wide enough for a pic of 12/3 with ground so maybe 9/16 to 5/8 inch. The nails are included, so it can hold more than one wire, depending upon your wire size.
The 2 nails hold the plastic bar against the wire and the wire against the wood. It is used for 14/2 romex and ethernet (different runs) without issues. It is good for indoor use, not so sure about the exterior used where the nails will be exposed to the elements.
