Next on the list, we've got yet another computer that manages to win our hearts. It's the garmin dive computer and it's widely considered as one of the best convenient computer you can buy. The Mk2i in terms of diving features is every bit as powerful as the Shearwater Teric and even has a few features the Shearwater does not have. It includes built-in support for multiple sports apps, advanced training features, contactless payment, music storage with premium streaming service support (subscription may be required), smart notifications for calls, texts and calendar alerts and more.
The dive app with AI is amazing for logging your dives and showing a timeline of PSI per minute, depth over time, HR, pulse Ox, and water temp. It is simple to change conservatism factors and has fully customizable gradient factors. You can even turn on “pool mode” from the quick menu and the mk2 will not save confined water dives, keeping the dive log clean.

The garmin garmin dive computer is specially designed for your daily usage and has all useful features. The Garmin transmitter is unique to Garmin Computers. It's big and fairly thick. The expansion for diving makes it VERY tight on a 7mm wetsuit and impossible if you wear gloves. The watch pretty much does everything you need almost independently without the phone.
The Garmin is easy to use and very intuitive. The band expander, to avoid manual adjustments for diving and non-diving, needs 3mm more or less greater opening. There are several screens once the computer enters “dive mode” one of which is a very detailed compus. It is communicating with the transmitter all the time.
Why We Like This:
Great design and accuracy, amazing battery life
Reduced solar performance on watches that feature a power glass lens
